Simon Bowler (he/him) is a playwright, screenwriter, and producer. His theatrical works include Redshift (Mach33/Cal Tech), Judgement of the Eye (Overtime Theatre, Texas, Aug/Sep 2024), Marlowe Part One (Broad Horizons New Play Festival 2025), All Souls’ Night (Open Door Playhouse, Oct 2024; Radio Theatre Project, Nov 2024), and The Briefing (William Inge Festival, June 2021). Judgement of the Eye received staged readings at The Phoenix Theatre New Play Festival (2025), The Long Beach Playhouse New Theatre Festival (2025), and accolades including The Beverly Hills Theatre Guild Julie Harris Award, The Sultan Padamsee Playwriting Award, Pharmacy Theatre Winner, Wishbone Theater Winner, and Jocunda Music, Film & Theatre Festival. Bowler’s work includes feature films Casino Jack (consultatnt), and Man of The Year (producer). In television, he served as Executive Producer for Street Apostle (BET, Telly Award winner), produced Unnatural Disaster (Channel 4), and multiple series for BBC, ABC, PBS, Fox, OWN, Bravo, VH1, and Discovery. He holds a BA Honors Degree in Film and TV from the University of Westminster, London, and an Associate Degree in Law from UCLA.
